Changes

First of all, the date has changed for our first event. The town hall was double booked, an occurrence I am told is far from rare, so we changed to the Sunday (September 11) instead. Bit nervous now, because generally the town's not quite so busy on a Sunday, but we shall see how things work out.

Had a fantastic response from local traders - it seems to be an ever-popular career choice for mums who want to spend as much time as possible with their wee ones, but need to contribute to the household income too. We now have I'm a Little Toy Shop from Dundee, who sells the most beautiful wooden toys and games, Truly Madly Baby/Kid by Jenny, who sells fantastic clothes and accessories for kids, and also holds parties in your own home, The Clays Shop, also clothes but of a different style and brand; 1off Moments by Anne-Marie, a mum from Dundee who crafts extraordinary jewellery using your baby or child's fingerprints, and Angus Birth Companion, a doula from Forfar who is coming to join us to explain her craft. Fingers crossed for a good day!

Spent hours last night putting leaflets and flyers into bags for everyone who comes along - prepared 250, so hope the numbers are good!
